In depth
Verdict
There are plenty of duck-eggs here so the safest option looks to be Temper Tantrum who can defy topweight at the expense of Mujkari, Mister Clinton and Waxwing. Andrew Reid's five-year-old beat stablemate Mutabassir over the course and distance earlier in the season but has been campaigned over longer since then, without being able to add to his tally. He is back over his optimum trip, is only three pounds higher in the weights and has the assistance of Jean-Pierre Guillambert, so must take all the beating, despite his wide draw. He holds Mister Clinton on course form and a bigger danger may be Mujkari, hailing as he does from the specialist sprint-yard of Milton Bradley. The seven-year-old, also a course and distance winner in the past, was just touched off in a seller at Musselburgh last time. He too will appreciate the drop back in trip. Waxwing is too high in the weights at present, and despite his recent victory in claiming company, is sure to find Temper Tantrum too much to handle. So will the rest, and he looks all set to add to his haul.
