Verdict
Daisys Girl gets the vote, with Good Wee Girl, Never Away and Branston Penny worth a small mention at least. Daisys Girl overcame a tardy start to finish a close up third at Chepstow last time, benefiting from a first-time tongue tie, and as long as she stays the extra distance here, Stuart Williams's filly could well open her account in a race that should not take too much winning. Good Wee Girl scored on soft ground at Chepstow last year, and although she has struggled on faster conditions since, there is no doubting the fact that she is now extremely well handicapped, so she should not be dismissed out of hand. Never Away was stepped up in trip for the first time when third over the course and distance last month, but it was no more than a fair effort and she will need to improve again to open her account. She should again finish ahead of Branston Penny who was back in fourth though, and who appears to have stamina limitations. Be Bop Aloha is not really bred to stay 10 furlongs but she has plugged on gamely enough on her last two outings, and might surprise in reaching the frame, but in a trappy contest, we shall rely on Daisys Girl.
