Verdict
Perfect Distance can follow up on his promising debut run and looks to have most to fear from Kuringai. Third at Bath two days ago, Brian Meehan's runner can confirm with Melaina, who was three lengths adrift in sixth, and gain his first success. The winner of that race has gone on to win again. Kuringai has proven very consistent and certainly deserves to win a race of this nature while Moscow Mary is entitled to place claims. The newcomers Inzabar, Anatom and Lotto are all bred for speed while more is needed from Miss Whiplash based on her second over course and distance last time, even though her stable is in good form.
