    Verdict

Maluti, Taboor and Imperium are three against the field in another wide open affair and the tentative vote goes to Maluti. The selection was given a poor ride when second behind Catch The Wind last time and off the same mark here and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Tabor rates the main danger on his latest win over Jayanjay but he only won by a neck on that occasion and he will find it harder under his penalty so he is overlooked on this occasion. Imperium is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Trick Cyclist. He goes well at the track and is worth noting in the market. Redwood Star ran as if returning to form when fourth last time out but has been done no favours by the draw, while Kew The Music is on a very favourable mark and it would be no surprise to see him run well now his stable is back in form but for the winner we return to Maluti.
