    Verdict

A rather low-key conclusion to the evening with Avonmore Star seeking to follow up a battling Nottingham success over this trip five days ago under a 6lb penalty. He'll surely go well under Oisin Murphy but a chance is taken on KOHARU. Both career success have come at this venue and this looks a slightly easier contest than those in which he has shown relatively little the last twice. His profile is admittedly erratic but he's gone well on all four starts here and could offer some value against the likely market leader. Volito has been off a while for a sprinter but is a consistent enough sort and the eight-year-old still knows how to win. However, he seems more at home on Polytrack these days and is searching for a first win on Turf since 2011.
