In depth

Verdict

It was soft going when Wilson went close here last time but he’d finished well behind SWISSAL on faster ground over course and distance before that. The latter is only 2lb higher today and David Dennis’ charge can go in again. Andalusite finished a long way behind the selection before placing over a mile here while The Lamplighter’s recent second came in a seller over 6f at Leicester. Warning Fire attempts today’s trip for the first time having won over 6f while The British Lion lost his tongue-tie here last time but was placed over track and trip before that.
