Verdict
Granary Girl gets the call over Jostle, with Shiny Thing, Looking Great and Branston Penny worth a mention at least. Granary Girl has already picked up a couple of races this season, at Wolverhampton where she made all in claiming company, and more recently at Bath in June in what was a similar contest to today's. Upped in grade at Chepstow 10 days ago, her front-running tactics nearly paid off again, but she was swallowed up inside the final furlong to be beaten only two lengths at the finish, and back at this level, she has a major chance of bouncing back. Jostle has raced mainly on the all-weather to date and could just be a bit high in the weights at present, while Shiny Thing also has it to do from the top of the handicap. Looking Great has run out of steam on both tries over further but should not be ruled out on this drop back in trip, and Branston Penny seems to be going the right way but needs to step up on her third in selling company at Nottingham. Overall, Granary Girl looks the one to be on.
