Verdict
John Claude gets the vote to win this claimer with Suhezy and Blue Minx rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fifth in a better race behind Silver Crest last time out, form that sets the standard in the context of this race, and he need only run up to that mark to score. Blue Minx rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Figiam but he has given the impression in the past that he would be suited by a longer trip, and for that reason he is passed over. Suhezy is another that could go well on his best form, but he was very disappointing for no apparent reason last time out so cannot be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Bucks Fantasy is another that has shown a modicum of ability and is dropping in grade but for the winner we return to John Claude who should relish the drop in grade.
