In depth

Verdict

Dickensian gets the confident vote here with Baan and Arabian Sea rating the main dangers. The selection won well on his debut when beating Mutawajid and although he is giving weight all round, he is sure to have improved for the run and under similar conditions here will be hard to beat. Baan rates the main danger as he is a Diesis colt out of an unraced mare from a speedy USA family and should be noted in the market. Arabian Sea is another with place claims on his latest sixth behind Championship Point but that form has since been let down and for that reason he is overlooked. Of the remainder Pound Sign is another well bred newcomer that hails from a yard that can ready a debutante and is another that should be monitored in the market but for the winner we return to Dickensian who looks sure to improve.
