Verdict
Dear Maurice has gone close very close on his last couple of starts over the minimum trip on faster going and BERMONDSEY BOB makes more appeal in the prevailing testing ground. The latter has been threatening a return to winning ways off his current mark and this looks easier than his latest task at Chepstow where he finished third to Full Shilling under today's apprentice. It was only a seller that National Hope picked up at Windsor last time and more is needed here but multiple course winner Stonecrabstomorrow could figure if back to his best.
