        Verdict

        TAWSEEF's recent cosy win over 1m2f here is the best piece of recent form. He should stay today's longer trip and his task is made that much easier with an apprentice's claim negating a 5lb rise in the weights. Thundering Home has the past form to figure but arrives badly out of sorts while the enigmatic Royal Defence went close over C&D last month in between a couple of woeful efforts. Blue Zealot ran well on her first start since 2010 when runner-up at Bath and she may figure along with last month's Leicester winner Tallulah Mai.
