    Verdict

Probably an ordinary maiden and Andhaar is our selection ahead of Today's The Day and Popiel. Andhaar has ran creditably in three starts thus far and was not disgraced at Kempton last week. He seems to have got the hang of starting on terms and the booking of Seb Sanders is a positive. Today's The Day should be suited by an extra furlong. One of the more expensive purchases in the field, the cheekpieces are tried in an attempt to persuade him into victory. Popiel is bred to be better over further. That said, his relatives were all capable of winning over this trip at this time of their careers. Deal Clincher ran disappointingly at Kempton and the fact that she has taken a break from the game suggests something was probably amiss. Imperial Skylight looks a nursery type and will be vulnerable to improvers. Ed Vaughan's horses are always worth a look and it would be no surprise to see Honorable Endeavour leave behind an inauspicious start. Night Lily is likely to be tried again under forcing tactics. Al Sabaheya is watched in the market. Andhaar is the pick.
