Verdict

Ursus Belle took time to get the hang of things on debut before staying on steadily at Bath and will be more streetwise now. She receives the 5lb fillies' allowance and is respected along with Poignant, who seemed to be going the right way until running disappointing last time. He has solid claims on previous efforts but ALASKA (NAP) looks the one to beat. He has progressed in each of three runs, performing really well when third to a Godolphin hotpot second time up before just failing to reel in Royal Liberty here last time. His course knowledge and the 5lb claim of Mitch Godwin should see him home this time.
