Verdict
Dvinsky holds an obvious chance on the evidence of his latest success at Chepstow but Tony Carroll's gelding would probably prefer a softer surface so preference is for Franksalot, who gets the vote ahead of Phluke. The last mentioned is well handicapped on the pick of his form but is another that would probably prefer more cut in the ground, while The Bonus King has conditions to suit but is inconsistent. Dean Ivory's Jools is on a long losing sequence and has given little sign of coming out of it, while Kew The Music has been running consistently well but could possibly do with some help from the handicapper. Mister Clinton is another worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Franksalot, who has been running well on the all-weather of late and has slipped to an attractive mark.
