    Verdict

Dowlleh is proving to be consistent and appears to have been found a good opportunity to break his maiden; he has the most to fear from Mister Lucky and Quiddity. The John Dunlop-trained Grand Heights has a likeable pedigree but already appears to be in need of a touch further; so will be more interesting when he faces a stiffer test of his stamina. Quiddity was well held by the selection when they met on the All Weather just over a month ago and needs to have improved greatly in the intervening period. Her yard have been in great form though, so a market move for this daughter of Diesis will be noteworthy. Mister Lucky has a small prize within him and can be placed to good effect in nursery handicaps. Nevertheless, the fitting of headgear is a sign that he may not be the most straightforward of characters and, as he also has a bit to find with the selection, he needs everything to go his way this afternoon. Therefore, sticking with the proven form of Dowlleh can pay the best dividend and looks the most logical route to follow in the opener.
