In depth

Verdict

Fiveoclock Express has an obvious chance on these terms and is selected ahead of Prairie Law and Esperance. The last named is capable at this level on his day and should again make a good race of it. However, he is very hard to win with and needs everything to drop just right for him. Therefore, a bigger threat is expected to be posed by Prairie Law, who was on good terms with himself when he won a similar contest at Redcar earlier in the month. Still, that was his first success since he arrived here from Germany last year and he does not strike as one to be going overboard about in his follow up bid. Therefore, we stick with Fiveoclock Express, who goes very well here, has an excellent chance at the weights and looks easily the most reliable option in a very weak seller.
