Verdict
Perseverance is the name of the game with many of Mick Channon's runners and it may pay to give Hathlen the benefit of the doubt after a below par run at Ayr earlier in the month and allow the son of Singspiel another chance here. Dance Solo and Stanhope Forbes are others to consider and are respected as live dangers - whilst there must surely be more to come from Concert Hall, who put in a fair performance on her debut here before tiring in the closing stages. However, with the Channon team firing on all cylinders at the moment, the likelihood is that Hathlen will make this a real test in the closing stages and this well related colt is fancied to deliver on the promise he had shown prior to the minor blip on his record in what was a better race than this last time.
