Verdict

WHITECREST is a dual course and distance winner and back on a winning mark - he may prove good enough. Royal Bajan has been out of sorts on the all-weather but can race off a much lower mark back on this surface and the latter comment also applies to Diamond Charlie, though he hasn’t won on Turf since 2011. By contrast, Time Medicean was beaten less than a length at Wolverhampton in February but is 8lb higher back at this venue. Ask The Guru makes more appeal than Piazza San Pietro of the others.
