Verdict
Heroes returns to the level after a couple of spins over hurdles and Landucci has done well here in the past but STEIG is taken to score in what should prove to be a competitive claimer. The George Baker-trained selection is in good heart of late and ran a decent race when finishing third at Newmarket last time. He goes well at this track and arrives here at the top of his game. Tim Vaughan's Heroes was beaten at odds-on over timber at Wethebry in April but had been shaping well enough on the flat in the winter. He is clearly fit and has place claims. Some of Landucci's best form has come over course and distance and we expect him to be thereabouts here today.
