Verdict
Night Groove gets the verdict ahead of Bahhmirage, with Emotive, Flashing Floozie and Zizou just three more in with claims in a wide-open contest. Night Groove has been a model of consistency on the all-weather, and nearly made a winning return to Turf at Redcar a fortnight ago when edged out by Bedouin Blue. Nick Littmoden's charge is dropped in grade and has topweight, but with James Doyle taking a handy 5lb off his back, hopes are high that he can make amends. Bahhmirage did not get the best of luck in running at Wolverhampton last time, having to settle for third behind Inaminute, but that was a seller and he has more to do against the in-form selection. Emotive looked a bit reluctant at Epsom last time, while Flashing Floozie and Zizou are both fairly well weighted but neither is in the best of form at present. All in all, despite residing at the top of the handicap, Night Groove makes most appeal.
