In depth

Verdict

Whatatodo, Iced Diamond and Attacca are three against the field in another wide open affair with the nomination going to Whatatodo. The selection was a fair fourth behind Christmas Truce last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and off the same mark he will be hard to beat. Iced Diamond rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Taranaki but all his best form is on an all weather surface and for that reason he is opposed. Attacca is another worthy of respect on his best form but he ran as if in the handicappers grip last time out.Contented has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but he is hard to win with. Of the remainder Boarder Lad is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Whatatodo.
