    Verdict

Proven ability to act on this track is a big plus and CHEYLESMORE has already won three times, once over C&D. Michael Wigham's gelding is just starting to come down the weights again and should take all the beating. Beat The Bell has a penalty for Saturday's win at Goodwood but Leonna Mayor again takes off 5lb and he makes more appeal than Waabel, who has struggled back in handicaps since landing a Lingfield claimer last month. Avonmore Star is on a very fair mark nowadays but was a beaten favourite on his reappearance at Windsor and is on a long losing run.
