    Verdict

    Starfighter is well handicapped on the pick of his form but a recent effort at Yarmouth has to go down as a disappointment. Any Mark Johnston runner at Brighton is always respected and though well held on a previous visit, Victory Star has won two races at Lingfield since. WISPER has a first start for Marcus Tregoning and though she is 8lb higher than the mark she won off last term, she appears capable of showing her form regardless of the prevailing ground conditions.
