This is an interesting claimer, and preference is for the in form LUCAYAN DANCER to see off Rowan Lodge and Coole Dodger. Coole Dodger has been out of form since taking a handicap at Windsor a year ago, but he is well in at the weights here, and a return to form looks likely. He is up against a couple of useful types at this level however. Rowan Lodge returned to winning form in a Beverley seller before chasing home Lucayan Dancer last month. He is clearly in good heart and looks a danger to all. Lucayan Dancer seemingly has a bit to find with Rowan Lodge, having beaten him by a length and re-opposing on 9lbs worse terms. However, he had to come wide to score at Musselburgh that day, and was value for more than the winning margin. Lucayan Dancer looks sure to run his race and can score again.
