In depth

Verdict

Bertie Southstreet gets the confident vote to get his head in front with Greek Secret and Quaker Boy rating the main dangers. The selection has ran well on all his starts to date and was a fair fourth behind Sir Percy last time out, this looks easier and with the return to the minimum trip sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Greek Secret rates the main danger as he showed a modicum of ability when finishing in mid-division behind Pickett. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and should be noted in the market Quaker Boy is another worthy of respect as he aalso showed some ability on his debut and is another that is sure to improve. However he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and for that reason he is passed over. Of the remainder Bucks Fantasy is from a shrewd yard and is another to note in the market but for the winner we return to Bertie Southstreet who has plenty in hand on what he has shown so far.
