Verdict

This race in 2013 was the last time Circuitous won and he has been off the track since September. Stablemate NEW LEASE OF LIFE makes more appeal on his recent form that includes a close-up fourth at Hamilton last time and he is preferred to Heroique. The latter has slipped further down the weights this year and could go well along with Indego Blues, while Amis Reunis went close at Beverley on her penultimate start and may prove best of the rest in in uninspiring opener.
