Verdict

The handicapper took Beau Dandy to task after he won by 21 lengths at Newcastle last month and he is 13lb higher now. This trip has proved beyond course winner Bertie Milan in the past but Irish pointer Mister Philson should stay and Royal Mackintosh won over track and trip in November, though was a long way behind Beau Dandy last time. Bounds And Leaps was taking on better opposition last time while Keeverfield won at Market Rasen last month, though is 8lb higher now in a stronger heat. ETXALAR can't get much lower in the handicap and has an outstanding chance in this if he can reproduce his run at Haydock in November off a 10lb higher mark. In another tricky contest, he gets a narrow vote.
