Verdict
Little for us to go on here really, but from what we have seen the Nigel Twiston-Davies raider What Do'In looks capable of following up his recent Exeter success, with Em's Royalty and Loustic Collonges others to make a note of. The selection has to defy a penalty for that 2m 7f success, and is will be no piece of cake on softer ground. However, the yard continue in good form and would not be making this long trip north to Carlisle if they did not fancy their chances of success and we are happy to side with the gelding. Em's Royalty comes from the local Andrew Parker yard, who does so well at the track. The gelding can also perform with cut in the ground and stays well enough, though you have to dismiss a disappointing comeback run at Kelso if you are preparing to support him. Loustic Collonges looks the most interesting of the others. The French-bred five-year-old is owned by the Wylies and trained by Howard Johnson and those factors alone, plus the yard's good form, means that he merits plenty of respect despite this being his first outing in public. Any support for him is likely to be significant, but What Do'In has already proved he can do it and we take him to follow up.
