      Verdict

John Wainwright holds strong claims here being double handed with Joyce's Choice and Fairgame Man and the last named gets the decision, with Song Koi put forward as another one to note. Joyce's Choice beat Fairgame man into second at Warwick last time, wearing down his stable mate in the last few strides. There was only a neck in it at the line, and the former got the much better break, so if they both start on terms today we would expect Fairgame Man to prevail. Song Koi made a pleasing debut on the all weather at Wolverhampton last time, finishing fifth behind Deuxieme. This represents a drop ion class for James Given's lightly raced filly and she looks set to play a major role. In a very competitive event recent winner Estoille is also worth a mention, but if Fairgame Man puts his best foot forward today he will be hard to beat.
