Verdict

BORDER FLORA has some fairly ugly form figures to her name but she shapes as if she will be capable of staying trips in the future and with heavy in the going description, if she can keep on her feet, she has a realistic chance of running a big race at juicy odds. Play The Rock has a couple of disappointing runs on the board but has shown an aptitude for racing on a softer surface in the past. Douglas Julian is likely to be popular after landing a gamble at Hexham and on the face of it, a 7lb rise in the weights seems not to be particularly harsh under the circumstances. Overyou was easy to back on handicap debut but from a very shrewd operation, it would be no surprise to see her perform with a lot more credit on this occasion. Paddys Honour was formerly trained by Phillip Hobbs and makes a debut for Lucinda Russell after in excess of a year off.
