Verdict
A competitive field goes to post for this handicap hurdle and the principals look to be Icy River, Red Society and Son Of Snurge and we will take a chance on Icy River. The six year old from the Mary Reveley yard was a good second on his debut this season behind Gielgud and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Red Society rates the main danger on his latest third behind Zibeline but he gave the impression he would be seen to better effect over further so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Son Of Snurge is also worth of respect on his latest second behind Book's Way but that to was over a longer trip. Of the remainder Bolton Barrie is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but he will have to improve to beat the selection Icy River.
