Verdict

This race will be a dour test for its participants and SCOTT'S MILL might be the best answer to it with Jethro Tull and Shulmin likely to be thereabouts. The above mentioned trio met at Sedgefield with Jethro Tull coming out on top. It's worth noting though that Sue Smith's charge was actually returning from absence on that occasion and as there was money for him on that occasion, we take him to reverse form today. Jethro Tull is perfectly adequate at staying events. He appears effective on pretty much any surfaces. Shulmin looks weighted to her best at present and the handicapper looks to have her measure. Amoreigh made hay off low marks last year and while proven on the ground, his recent efforts have been little to write home about. Oh Pickles hails from a yard that enjoy plenty of success at this venue so watch the market. Seek The Truth is a previous course winner while Hollows Mist makes little appeal. Scott's Mill gets the vote.
