Verdict

Monet's Garden, Kidithou, Katmandu and L'Oiseau are the four to concentrate on in this novices' hurdle and we will side with Monet's Garden. The 6-year-old from the Nicky Richards yard has the services of Tony Dobbin here and made an impressive hurdling debut when defeating Sands Rising at Kelso last time. He is highly-regarded by his yard and should take this before going onto better things. Katmandu was a fair sort on the flat and has shown promise on both his starts over hurdles. He ran well when a close second behind Skenfrith last time and although he does have his quirks he should be capable of running on into a place. Kidithou is another with claims as he was a fair second behind Letitia's Loss at Sedgefield last time. He is dropped back to a more suitable trip here and could go close after a short break from the track. L'Oiseau is the other worthy of a mention although he will have to improve significantly on his latest effort to trouble the judge here, and for the winner we return to the progressive Monet's Garden.
