THE DOORMAN had been threatening to win with a string of placed efforts before fading away at Kelso last time. He has strong claims in this company if forgiven his latest run. Mackie Dee has been beaten a long way in both recent placed efforts and Shepherd's Bight was never in contention when third over these hurdles last month though he still finished ahead of Cadellin. Iris's Promise and How Much Is Enough have shown nothing over hurdles so far.
