Verdict
Much will depend on how much ability Venture To Fly retains after being off the track for such a long time. Nicky Richards¿ charge looked to have a bright future ahead of him over fences but the fact that he hasn't been seen out since he took a crashing fall on his chase debut at Ayr last year has to be a worry. Kenny Johnson takes over the riding duties aboard Red Rampage, who makes a quick reappearance after taking the wrong course at Hexham on Saturday. If anything that experience should have sharpened him up and he is no forlorn hope of gaining compensation here. Scotmail Lad is also difficult to rule out on the pick of his form and he should revel in the conditions. He ran a fair race on his reappearance at Bangor a fortnight ago and will carry the hopes of the TEAMtalk race-team. He can get the better of Elvis reigns, who as the only other race-fit rival, is taken to fulfil the forecast position.
