Verdict
From a handicapping perspective, course and distance winner Jewel Maker is attractively treated, having slipped to a mark in the 60s for the first time since 2020. He's not gone too badly on certain starts this term and landed this contest last year, but STRANGERONTHESHORE (NAP) is the choice. Back in good form after a break, she only went down by a neck at Doncaster in a fair race for the grade and can go one better around a venue she enjoys. Moreover, four of five career wins have come on tracks with stiff finishes. It's not a straightforward task to sort out the remaining quintet as all have shown enough at one time or another to take a hand, but Dandy's Angel, who needs delivering late, is running well at present, whilst Tremendous Times makes appeal if a line is struck thorough his latest effort.
