Knight Valliant is a course and distance winner and though he could have done without an 8lb rise for his Newcastle victory he's won from higher marks in the past. Danceintothelight hasn't won for two years but is another who should be taking advantage of a falling mark before too long but Beyontemptation, despite performing well at present, hasn't won beyond the minimum trip. Bryden Boy has plenty of weight for a maiden, though he found three miles too far at Ayr last time, so the vote in a very open contest goes to INDEPUB, whose last victory came here last May and who ran a bit better on the track last time.
