      Verdict

      Negaawi, Friends Hope and Firebird Rising and the vote goes to Negaawi. The selection ran better than her finishing position would suggest when fourth behind Lorien Hill last time. She is sure to have come on for the run and with this stiff track sure to suit she will be hard to beat. Friends Hope rates the main danger she was a fair fifth behind Incisor last time and that form has since been franked and she remains at the right end of the weights. Firebird Rising is another that could go well but she looks to have enough weight for what she has achived and for that reason she is passed over on this occasion. Of the remainder Micklegate is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market while Alice Blackthorn needs to improve on her most recent efforts to score so for the winner we return to Negaawi.
