Verdict
Julius Caesar,Pass Me By and Lord Olympia look the three to concentrate on in this novices chase and the vote is given to Julius Caesar. The selection took a heavy fall last time in a grade two affair but the fact that his shrewd connections thought him good enough to take his chance in that race speaks volumes. This looks easier and he need only put in a fluent round of jumping to score. Pass Me By rates the main danger on his best form as he goes well at the track but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Lord Olympia is another that could go well on his best form but he is continually let down by his jumping and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. of the remainder Russian Sky was a fair fourth behind Dark Ben last time and is sure to have learnt from the experience so he should be noted in the market but Julius Caesar sets a fair standard and will be hard to beat.
