In depth

Verdict

Madam Lilibet was in superb form in the autumn, scoring on the Flat then completing a double over hurdles. She shot up the weights but was beaten by the heavy ground last time and could bounce back. Omid is the only other course and distance winner in the line-up but he was a long way behind Madam Lilibet in November and has been in poor form subsequently. JONNY EAGER looked a really nice prospect when scoring easily at Newcastle then ran a shocker at Wetherby, which can't have been his form. Donald McCain tries blinkers here and hopefully they will have the desired effect. See The Legend has only won once but has dropped to a fair mark and could battle it out for a place with Macgillycuddy, who hadn't got over his Newcastle fall when pulling up at Kelso.
