        Verdict

        Special Lad, Zanjeer and Linda Green are the three to consider here, and Special Lad is taken to complete the hat-trick. Zanjeer justified favouritism in a similar contest over the course and distance last time but that was a weak affair and his earlier efforts did not inspire confidence. Mick Channon¿s Linda Green is part owned by Jimmy Tarbuck, and the Scouser has had lots of fun with Linda Green this season. She has won four times, with three of those wins coming this season. She was staying on well at Goodwood last time and this extra furlong should be in her favour. Special Lad though can lead the filly home. He won with authority last time despite flashing his tail, and he can follow up that Newbury success here.
