Strangerontheshore had been threatening to win for some time before landing a course and distance handicap a fortnight ago and a 4lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. Come On Linda, who was beaten a length into third, has since been beaten at Ripon though badly missed the break. Zoravan is generally thereabouts though doesn't win often enough but CHINESE SPIRIT won here earlier this month and is just 2lb higher so could be good enough in a moderate handicap. Feel The Thunder is a lightly-raced maiden who could snatch a place.
