Verdict

This is a tricky betting proposition for punters but Great Approach looks to have solid claims and he is preferred to Carapuce and Oscar The Boxer. The selection ran a blinder last time out when chasing home Thatlldoforme at Kelso over an inadequate trip. Nicky Richards' charge will be suited by the step-up in distance today and with proven form on the ground he should take the beating. However, there are a number of dangers in the field and they are headed by Oscar The Boxer. He was well clear of the rest when chasing home Top Cloud at Sedgefield last time and although beaten by our selection previously, he does have a handy pull in the weights today. Carapuce was a little disappointing at Ayr last time but he is another that would hold claims on his best form. San Peire is consistent and has solid place claims but Great Approach has everything in his favour today and gets the vote.
