      Verdict

      No prizes for originality here but Middleham looks set to break his maiden tag here for trainer Mark Johnston, while My Valerina can follow him home. The selection ran very green on debut at Newcastle, but showed enough to suggest that he can take this. Already Group 1 entered, he will be better over further, but this is a weak event and he can take advantage. The others who have had a start look very very ordinary and My Valerina is of more interest on debut. She could have enough speed to make the selection break sweat, while Muncaster Castle will be better with a couple of runs under his belt and over further, so we take Middleham to score.
