In depth

Verdict

A smallish field here and Highland Song can take advantage, with Fayr Sky, Hypnosis and Mormeatmic others to consider. The selection likes a bit of cut in the ground and in addition performs well over this trip. He shows a consistent level of form, with arguably his best effort yet when just touched off at Musselburgh recently and he looks the most likely winner here. Fayr Sky will probably give him most to do. Arguably unlucky at Nottingham last time, soft going holds no fears for him, he is consistent, and his sole success came over this minimum trip, so he is respected. Hypnosis is a bit hit and miss and also has to prove she handles cut, while Mormeatmic has won on good to soft and should not be too far away, though for us he still has a bit to find with the selection, Highland Song.
