Verdict
ANGEL'S ACCLAIM ended the last campaign scoring at Newcastle and she ran well on her reappearance in a better race than this at Doncaster. Jacob Black was on a long losing run before scoring at Musselburgh early last month and returned there to land a better race a couple of weeks later so he's an obvious contender despite a 7lb rise. Acadian Angel suffered in the weights after scoring at Doncaster in July but has gradually dropped to a winnable mark and showed a bit more dash at Haydock. Mischief Managed won a couple of minor handicaps but couldn't cope with an extra 4lb on his hat-trick attempt at Wolverhampton. Natajack would have to be considered on his victory from 13lb higher here in July though that was on ground with some give.
