    Verdict

Epices gets the confident vote here with Piccolomini and Mr Majestic rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Missatacama last time out and if he is fit after an absence he will be hard to beat. Piccolomini rates the main danger as he has ran well in some hot handicaps of late. This looks easier and with his yard in top form he will not be far away. Mr Majestic is another worthy of respect as he was a fair second behind Ellerslie Tom last time but the drop in trip has to be of concern. Of the remainder Spring Charm is another that could go well but his overall form leaves him with a little to find and he may be seen to better effect in handicaps and for the winner we return to Epices.
