          Verdict

          A wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on there best form but the principals look to be Desertina, Azuree,My Rascal and Pinafore and the tentative vote is given to Desertina. The selection was a good second behind Juniper Bankes last time out and off the same mark here and from a good draw he looks the one to beat. Azuree rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Borodinsky but he has a penalty for that win and that may just find him out. My Rascal also won well last time out when beating Brave Bear but all his best form is over a longer trip and for that reason he is passed over. Pinafore has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Desertina.
