Verdict
Beg To Differ was fourth in the Welsh National in December but struggling when unseating his rider on his only subsequent start at Sandown, though should enjoy this stiff track. Blakemount won over further here 12 days ago but had a hard race and is 7lb higher. Top Wood and Sun Cloud are both potentially well treated but neither has been in the best of form this season while Cultram Abbey has failed to build on a head defeat by CARRIGDHOUN here in October. The latter is only a pound worse off and a standing dish around here. The veteran ran well for a long way in the North Yorkshire Grand National at Catterick last month and still appears in good heart.
