        Verdict

        John O'Groats comes here at the top of his form, is proven on a stiff track and looks the one to beat. Esatto makes a quick reappearance after winning a moderate event at Brighton on Monday. He has more to do under a penalty, but comes in in good heart and cannot be left out of calculations. Night Flight has completely lost his way, but Statoyork is more than capable if he gets the strong pace he needs.
